About the Angling Section
The Angling Section consists of boat fishing and beach fishing.
Boat Fishing
Our boat fishing competitions are held on the first Saturday of every month and if that day is cancelled, it is carried over to the Sunday. We have mens, ladies, veterans and junior sections, in both our boat fishing and beach fishing competitions. The section has its monthly meeting on the first Wednesday of every month at 8.00 pm.
Beach Fishing
We hold six beach fishing competitions a year. Beach Fishing consists of anyone who loves fishing off the beach especially the kids. The section is very social and they go away camping or stay in beach shacks regularly. The section is very focussed towards getting the kids out there and enjoying fishing with mum and dad. We also have various competitions with our neighbouring clubs. All fishing competitions are very well attended and new members are always welcome.
Mid-Month Fishing
Mid-Month fishing competition, is a boat fishing competition, held every month on the Sunday immediately following the Boat fishing competition. The same rules apply but with a finish time of 3.00 pm
