COVID-19

The health and safety of our members remains our number one priority

Ocean Reef Sea Sports Club's

COVID GUIDELINES

The health and safety of our members remains our number one priority. In line with Western Australian government health directive, all visitors (aged 16 years and over) to the Ocean Reef Sea Sports Club be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Providing Proof of

VACCINATIONS

In accordance with the Western Australian government regulations, from Monday the 31st January 2022, proof of COVID-19 double vaccination will be required to enter all venues / member clubs state-wide. Showing proof of vaccination to enter Ocean Reef Sea Sports Club is an important public health and social measure that we are required to implement to help protect the community against COVID-19.

We have put together our current plan and timeline from this date based on the current health regulations. These regulations are subject to change and may affect aspects of this plan, and in the case of this, we will adapt where necessary and notify our members as soon as possible.

Please understand that our staff will be enforcing these policies based on government rules and regulations and any form of animosity towards our staff who are just doing their jobs will not be tolerated.

From Monday 31st January 2022

  • Proof of double vaccination on entry and indoor mask-wearing becomes mandatory at all hospitality venues / member clubs venues for any patrons who are 16 years of age and over unless the patron is an exempt person under s7 of the directions.

  • Please be prepared to show your proof of vaccination on entry at ORSSC.

  • Please enter through the main entrance - all other entry points will be non-accessible.

  • We are working closely with the Liquor Licensing Police who attended the Club on Australia Day conducting spot checks.  They have stated that they will be returning regularly to work closely with the club to ensure we are following regulations and your understanding and cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated.

  • Members will receive a stamp on their hand once their proof of vaccination have been verified at the door.

  • Guests that have been signed in will be given a wristband after showing proof of vaccination, a photo ID, and their guest slip.

  • Our staff or relevant officers reserve the right to ask for proof of vaccination for sighting upon request at any time while patrons are at the club (except for a child under the age of 16 years or an exempted person under s7 of the directions).

Please see below the proof of vaccination evidence we accept:

  • COVID-19 Digital Certificate saved to smartphone

  • Printed Copy of COVID-19 Digital Certificate with Photo ID
